10 Ways to Whiten Hands and Feet

Feet and hands may appear darker than other areas because this part is more often exposed to sunlight. But don't despair, there are many ways to naturally whiten the skin of the hands and feet that you can try.

Well, before you apply these various methods, it's good to know in advance about what can be the cause behind its appearance.

Causes of blackened hands and feet

Skin tones that tend to be dark can occur due to too much melanin or melanocyte content that is too active. These skin discoloration often occurs slowly. Generally, this starts from the elbows, knuckles and knees and then spreads to the surrounding area.

1. Yogurt

One food ingredient that can be used to remove black skin in the hands and feet area is yogurt. This drink is good for this purpose because it contains alpha hydroxy lactic acid. This is a natural acid found in food ingredients.

Dry, scaly or dark skin can be removed by this compound by triggering exfoliation of dead skin. Just use yogurt in the desired area before going to bed. Leave for 10 minutes then rinse with warm water.

2. Lemon or orange juice

Foods that contain vitamin C can also be used to repel problems that can reduce this confidence. Simply apply lemon or orange juice to the skin of your hands and feet with a cotton ball before you sleep.

Let this liquid stay there for 30 minutes, then rinse with warm water. But be careful for those of you who have sensitive skin, the ingredients can be diluted by mixing a little water into lemon juice or orange juice.

3. Orange skin powder and yogurt

If lemon juice or orange juice is too dear to be applied to the hands and feet, orange peel might be an easier choice. Just dry the orange peel, you can use the oven, then mash until it becomes powder and mix with plain yogurt.

Apply to the skin of the hands and feet, then leave for 15 to 20 minutes. Then rinse with warm water to clean. The best time to use this herb is before bed.

4. Cucumber

Cucumber contains vitamin A which has an important role in helping to eliminate darker colors on the skin of the hands and feet. Food that is usually used as vegetables is also rich in water to hydrate the skin.

Rub the ingredients into dark skin for 5 minutes. Wait for 15 minutes for the skin to absorb nutrients from the cucumber. After that, rinse thoroughly with water.

5. Aloe vera

Another ingredient that can be used is aloe vera. This material can help reduce darker skin on the hands and feet while moisturizing it. Use aloe gel on your hands and feet for 5 minutes. Wait for half an hour then rinse with water.

6. Potatoes

Potatoes contain cathecolase enzymes and contain lots of starch. Both of these ingredients are believed to be able to brighten the skin. To use potatoes as a skin whitening agent for your hands and feet, you can cut the potatoes thinly and stick them to your hands and feet.

Alternatively, make potato juice and stick it on the hands and feet regularly every day.

7. Kefir milk

How to whiten the skin of the hands and feet in addition to yogurt can also use kefir milk. Kefir is fermented milk which is rich in lactic acid. These compounds can help exfoliate dead skin and help brighten the skin of blackened hands and feet.

8. Turmeric

10. Hazelnut Nut Oil
